The Energy Committee will utilize mapping to work to provide environmentally friendly, pollution free, sustainable energy fit for the development of Haiti. The objectives for the committee are as follows:
• Use GIS to gather information about Haiti e.g. population of towns and geographic infrastructure.
• Assess potential for deployment of solar farms, hydro, thermal (natural gas, petroleum, clean coal), and wind generators for domestication based on distributed independent utility.
• Assess energy resource potential for industrial manufacturing sectors based on dynamic growth potential.
• Work with educational sectors for human capacity potential for installation and maintenance of infrastructure.
